Part-time Business Resource Support Staff: Provide clerical support to Business Resource Coach and Business Resource Network Manager, On-site support while Resource Coach and Business Resource Network Manager are out of office, Assist the Business Resource Coach in filling out Support Service Payment Requests, Submit BRN Supportive Service Payment Request, Facilitate BRN Supportive Service Payment Disbursement, Meet with clients to hand deliver checks, Deliver checks to local vendors, Complete check delivery forms, Process BRN Supportive Service Payment Requests (after CFO approval), Make applicable copies as needed, Schedule participant and BRN Coach appointments, Utilize scheduling software to schedule appointments for the BRN coach as needed, Other support duties as needed.   For more information on the qualifications for this position and how to apply go to www.mitalent.org and search for Job Code #10452470.

 

Business Services Officer: Participate as an active member of the Capital Area Michigan Works! Business Services Team. Proactively outreach to targeted local employers to develop relationships that result in assisting the employers in finding qualified candidates for full time permanent high wage, high demand, or high skill positions. Work with local economic development and education partners to serve as a valuable resource when employers are not recruiting. Serve as business specialist to regional industry sector initiatives by providing labor market information, conducting business-building sessions, and linking businesses with skilled personnel trained in areas that are critical to keeping businesses competitive. Proactively outreach to targeted local employers to develop relationships that result in assisting the employers in finding qualified candidates for full time permanent high wage, high demand, or high skill positions.
